Temptation never comes with warning labels. It promises pleasure, comfort, or gain—but it hides the cost until it’s too late. In Genesis 39, we see Joseph face one of the greatest temptations of his life. His story shows us what it really takes to stand strong when sin comes knocking. To overcome temptation, we must recognize God’s blessings in our lives, set clear boundaries before the pressure hits, and always be ready with God’s Word in our hearts. The truth is, sin will always cost more than we want to pay and keep us longer than we want to stay. But when we resist, we gain something far greater—the presence of God.
