Donating long-term appreciated securities, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, makes a bigger impact. You may be able to increase your gift in a tax-efficient way, especially if it has been held for more than a year and appreciated in value (please consult your tax adviser for your personal situation).

why we give
Giving is more than a financial decision - it’s a spiritual one. When we tithe, we’re practicing trust, saying with our actions that we believe God is our provider (Matthew 6:33).
It’s a way of worshiping that doesn’t happen on a stage, but in the quiet moments when we choose to put God first (Proverbs 3:9). Scripture reminds us that “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7), not because He needs our money, but because He wants our hearts. Tithing helps us live with open hands, reminding us that everything we have is a gift, and we get to be part of something bigger than ourselves.
